Enhancements

  1. In the ‘I Like to’ menu, a new option to ‘show credit card’ is now available.

Fixes

  1. Reservations module,
    • The charge back and pay commission options are now linked to the booking agent instead of the company.
    • After a FIT folio is linked to the group folio, the updated information, such as the company, are automatically refreshed.
    • The contact person field for group folios are now showing as a text box instead of a dropdown selector.
    • The room number from the room tab no longer goes missing after this series of steps are used.
      • Unassign the room -> before saving the folio, a new room number belonging to a different room type is assigned -> select do not recalculate the rate when prompted -> save & exit
  2. Groups module,
    • The number of rooms booked in group reservations no longer auto increments when the rooms booked for the room type exceed 100.
    • The number of rooms booked no longer changes when the market segment is changed.
    • The group history tab no longer restricts the search to only 2 days from the calendar.
    • Editing specific fields, such as OTA Notes, Check In, Check Out, and Reservations notes in the group master folio no longer prevents the user from leaving the folio.
  3. Task / message module,
    • Selecting close followed by save or save and exit no longer duplicates the message.
    • Users will no longer receive a message “email is not set…” when the system setting to send email notifications for tasks and messages has been disabled.
  4. Rate restriction module,
    • Keyboard inputs into the rate code search and pressing the ‘enter’ key will only perform a search instead of populating the rate details.
  5. Accounts Receivables module
    • In the pending transactions section, after amendment is made, the right click option no longer shows the browser’s native functions but shows the program functions now.
  6. Block Room
    • The out of service reason is auto populated into the comment box on first load.

Version 6.0.049

Fixes

  1. Check out module,
    • In the check out or check out view screen, some credit cards which fail to decrypt are now showing the information correctly.
  2. Administration module,
    • In the ‘Manage User Roles’ screen, the name column is frozen such that it is no longer hidden when the user scrolls the screen to the right.

  1. Reservations module,
    • When a new guest is added from the guest popup window within the folio, the loyalty card number no longer shows as ‘undefined’.

Enhancements

Inventory module,

  1. Under Inventory –> Availability –> Room Types, the ‘Include Allotment in Inventory’ option is now ticked by default.

Groups module,

  1. The group module has been re-worked.
    • Voucher numbers and source of booking from the group master no longer automatically overrides the group sub folios.
    • Any update to voucher numbers or source of booking can be updated using the ‘Apply to Subfolios(s)’ function in the group master or at the individual sub folio level.
  2. The rooming list upload module includes an additional column for voucher numbers to be uploaded.

Rate management module,

  1. The Room Link module has been re-worked to include start and end dates.
    • After iHMS has been upgraded to this version, please review the start and end dates of the existing room links.

Reservations module,

  1. The ‘Other Guest’ tab has been renamed to ‘Guests’.
  2. The main guest for the booking can no longer be removed from the ‘Guests’ tab.

Fixes

Inventory module,

  1. The font of the ‘Reported Date” in ‘Maintenance Request’ has been re-worked to align with the rest of the screen.

Reservations module,

  1. In the ‘Create Reservations’ module, the ‘Minimum Stay Availability’ grid is now showing correctly when a booking for 2 or more adults is made.
  2. The ‘I like to’ function in the search screen now recognises which folio the user has just accessed.
  3. In the tasks and messages, the ‘inhouse’ option can now be un-ticked and updated.

Administration module,

  1. Under Administration –> Booking Management –> Email builder, there is a new definition to display the daily rates on a per night breakdown basis in a table form.

Groups module,

  1. When a group is checked in, the check in date for the sub folios have been added to the popup display.
  2. In the group rooming list popup, an additional header ‘Unassigned Rooms’ has been added above the room types header.

Reservations module,

  1. When a transaction is split, the description of the split transactions will start with the word ‘Split: ‘ to difference such transactions from posted transactions.

Fixes

Dashboard

  1. For the ‘Rooms’ dashboard, ‘Out of service’ rooms has been fixed to show correctly.

Inventory module,

  1. Under Inventory –> Availability –> Room Diary, ‘Out of service’ rooms will show correctly as ‘Out of Service’ instead of ‘On Hold’.

Rate management module,

  1. The ‘Apply Room Link’ button now updates the linked rates in other rate codes without requiring the to click the ‘save’ or ‘save and exit’ buttons.

Reservation module,

  1. Under Front Desk –> Departures, users are not able to assign rooms from this screen.
  2. Under Front Desk –> Manage House Accounts, the check out box no longer appears on screen after the house account has been checked out.
  3. Guest statuses for bookings now follows the guest statuses setup in the guest profile.
  4. When creating reservations using Booking –> Reservation –> Create Reservation, under the ‘Minimum Stay Availability’ section, the room type headers no longer disappears when the ‘Rate (Sort)’ button is clicked.
  5. Searching by passport numbers (encrypted field) now works for both the general search and enhanced search.
  6. Room statuses are now displaying similarly when searching using general search or enhanced search.

Enhancements

Administration module,

  1. Under Administration –> Booking Management –> Email builder,
    • Displays for items with currencies are now redefined to 2 decimal places.
    • The $ sign has been added to Res_Daily_Rate before the amount.
    • A new field Res_Inclusive_Items have been added to show rate inclusions.
    • A new field Res_RoomTypeDescription has been added to show the description of the room type instead of the code.
  2. Under Administrator –> Accommodation Management, a new menu ‘Housekeeping Dirty Reason’ has been added to facilitate updating of ‘dirty room reasons’ definitions.

Inventory module,

  1. Under Inventory –> Availability –> Room Diary, rooms which are set to ‘Out of Service’ will be be displayed with the reason instead of just ‘Out of Service’.
  2. Under Inventory –> Room Management –> Attendant console, a new column ‘Start Time’ has been added to allow the update of the start time for individual housekeeping attendants.

Reservations module,

  1. In the search screens, there is a new way to open folios, in a new tab. This can be done by
    • Right click on the booking and choose ‘Edit (New Tab)’ or
    • Select the icon in the ‘Edit (New Tab)’ column.
  2. The credit card encryption for credit card details has been upgraded to AES256.
    • An expected downtime of 60 minutes is required for this upgrade to complete.
  3. A red asterix has been added to the following compulsory fields, in the check in and group check in popup screens.

    • Source
    • Nationality
    • Region
    • Country
  4. A red asterix has been added to the expiry date when adding a new credit card.
  5. For handling of credit cards, the ‘Default’ field has been renamed to ‘Pre-Auth’.

Fixes

Finance module,

  1. For companies with ‘Stop Credit’ enabled, users with ‘Override Credit’ rights are no longer able to transfer the billing to accounts.

Rate Management module,

  1. The rate calculation ‘OffsetAdults) for linked rates work correctly now when the ‘Apply Room Link’ button is used.

Reservations module,

  1. Credit card surcharge fees are now calculating the tax components correctly.
  2. When change in market segments are updated during the check in process (using the check in popup), the market segment information is now updating correctly.
  3. Room assignment can now be done for rooms which are on ‘Attendant’ status.
  4. The ‘Refresh’ button in the room assignment popup now updates the room statuses correctly.
  5. Users can now re-assign the original rooms of the booking in the event a scheduled room change is not going to take place.
  6. Group Rooming list export button has been fixed to work.

  1. When the company profile is accessed, the guests in the guest tab are no longer pre-loaded.

Finance module,

  1. Users with access to the Accounts Receivables Pending module now have full access to amend the voucher number and remarks columns.

Housekeeping module,

  1. All due out rooms will now show linen change as ‘Y’.

Reservation module,

  1. In the room assignment popup, new screen filters to view ‘Out of Order’ and ‘Out of Service’ rooms have been added.

  1. Group sub-folios which have been cancelled will no longer appear in the popup for routing instructions.

Reservation module,

  1. Changing the main guest in the corporate tab will now update the main guest in the guest tab.
  2. Posting transactions into checked out folios are now stopped when the ‘overwrite’ access is used to access the checked out folios.
  3. Changing the guest during check-in when using the ‘I like to…’ option as now been enabled.
  4. Changing the guest during check-in when using the sequence Assigned Room –> Check In –> Change guest –> Check In is now updating the guest in the ‘Guests’ tab correctly.
  5. Credit card surcharge in the payment popup screen from the ‘Check Out’ and ‘Checkout View’ screens are now loading correctly.
  6. When the rate code is updated in the booking in the stay information box, and if the system is setup for market segment to be linked to the rate code, the market segment is now updated in both the corporate tab and room tab.
  7. When the company is changed in corporate tab of the booking, and if the system is not setup for market segment to be linked to the rate code, the market segment is now updated in both the corporate tab and room tab.

Administration module,

  1. Dashboard permissions are updated where some dashboard items are not hidden from users when the users are not granted permission.

Finance module,

  1. The Print button now loads the printout correctly.

Inventory module,

  1. In the Room Diary screen, the Create Reservation button now loads the Quick Reservation screen correctly with the relevant information filled in.

Rate management module,

  1. All stay restrictions are updating to all linked rates when Apply Rate, Apply Room Link, Set Restriction buttons are used.

Reservation module,

  1. When using enhanced search, the adults and children columns are now showing up correctly.
  2. In the search screens, the font colour for VIP guests have been updated to black instead of white to allow the status to be readable.
  3. When the multiple Transfer function is used, a popup message will appear to remind users to select the folios to transfer to if no folios are selected.
  4. When Reinstate Reservation function is used, the Move Reservation popup shows up with the correct colours.
  5. Adding a task or massage in the Corporate tab now works correctly.

Group module,

  1. Group sub-folios which are in virtual status will no longer add room nights when they are selected and extended from within the group master folio.
    • This was previously fixed in version 6.0.056 but was found to be incomplete as this can still happen in certain situations.
  2. In the search screens, the first night rate for all group master folios will now show as 0.
  3. When the booking dates of groups are moved, the assigned sub-folios will now be moved correctly with the group master.
  4. In the group master, the Change Check In/Out Date button updates the sub-folios dates correctly.

Version 6.0.058

Fixes

Company module,

  1. In the company profile, the default cash payment type can be selected again if other terms have been selected.

Inventory module,

  1. In the Availability -> Room Types, when the ‘Daily Message’ and ‘Daily Ratecode’ columns will show the full message when mouse over is applied over the columns.
  2. In the Room Diary, when the drag and drop is used to perform a room change, the room change is no longer automatically immediate.

Group module,

  1. OTA notes for group sub folios are now retained after the sub folio is checked in.
  2. When the upload rooming list function is used, the first name no longer has an extra space in front of the first name.

Reservation module,

  1. Changing the source of booking in the Corporate tab now updates the source of booking in the Room tab.
  2. Changing the company in the Corporate tab now updates the Company in the Room tab.
  3. Voided transactions now retain the original transaction date in the original date column correctly.
  4. Transfer transactions now posts the business date correctly instead of the original transaction date.
  5. When bookings are extended, the room rates remain unchanged when user selects ‘No’ to rate change.
  6. The batch posting and batch payment drop-downs in the room column have been realigned.
  7. Check in error messages have been updated to provide a more precise reason instead of just showing indicating that the room is dirty.

Enhancement

Administration module,

  1. An additional placeholder for Booking Total has been provisioned in the ‘Email Builder’.
  2. Email sending are now configured to send using Microsoft Graph instead of SMTP AUTH for higher security.

Reservation module,

  1. Voiding city ledger, direct bill or sales ledger transfer transactions will now include a check against the ledger to check if there is credit facilities before the void can be processed successfully.
  2. The Credit Card Box has been moved up from the Finance Box to the Reservation Box.

Inventory module,

  1. In the Inventory -> Rate Management -> Rate Codes, in the Room Link Setup tab, the default value for the EndDate has been updated to the current date plus 365 days.

Groups module,

  1. For group sub folio check outs,
    • If there is a balance on the first ledger, a prompt has been added to ask the user if they want to transfer the charges to the group master. If a positive response is provided, all transactions in the first ledger are transferred to the group master.
    • If there is a zero balance on the first ledger, no transactions will be transferred to the group master.

Reservation module,

  1. An icon has been added to remove the room type in Room Type to Charge.
  2. Reinstatement of ‘No Show’ bookings is now allowed.

Fixes

Inventory module,

  1. In the Inventory -> Rate Management -> Room Link, 2 columns have been added to the room link – StartDate and EndDate.

Reservation module,

  1. The Room Type to Charge feature now works when the booking dates are changed.
  2. When the number of adults are changed in the booking, the rate change prompt now displays the old and new rates.

  1. When the company is changed in the Corporate tab, and if it involves a rate code change due to special circumstances, the company in the Room tab will still be updated even if the rate code has not been changed.
  2. The Room Type to Charge feature now works when the booking dates are changed from the search screens.

  1. When the tab key is used to navigate the rate grid, the column headers will align correctly now.

Reservations module,

  1. Posting dates for transfer transactions will now show the correct business date, instead of the original transaction date. This affects the check out view and check out popup screens.
  2. Transactions without taxes (transfer transactions) will now be able to be split without tax calculation using the Split function.
  3. When the check in popup is used, the actual room statuses will now prompt correctly instead of just prompting “Room is dirty”.
  4. When add-ons are added at the point of booking creation, there will be a message prompt to inform the user that there is insufficient number of add-ons for the required dates, if the add-ons are fully reserved.
  5. An input limit has been added to these input boxes – OTA Notes, Check In, Check Out, and Reservations Notes in the Reservation section.
  6. When the room type of an in-house folio is changed, an additional prompt has been added to ask for a room selection.*

  3. In the Apply Rates popup, the Extra Child Rate can now be updated independently.

Reservations module,

  1. The room rate recalculation popup has been updated for the following situations.
    • Changing room assignment, including a change in room type, from the Arrivals page.
    • Changing room assignment, including a change in room type, from the Corporate tab of the folio.
    • Changing room assignment, including a change in room type, from the Room tab of the folio.
  2. When confirming room move, there will be additional checks to ensure that the room is vacant and clean before the room move can be confirmed. If the checks fail, the room move will fail and remains as a scheduled room move.
  3. When the room type is changed from the Room Assignment popup, the inventory update for channel manager interface is now released correctly.
  4. The usage for add-ons are now tracked correctly based on the add-on dates instead of the booking dates.
  5. In a situation when the same booking is assigned a room by 2 different person concurrently from the search screen and from within the folio, the last room assigned will take precedence.
  6. Any changes in the market segment in the folio will no longer be updated in the corporate and room tabs if the Save or Save & Exit buttons are not used to save the changes.
  7. Confirming room change from the room tab in the folio will check now check if the room is vacant and clean before proceeding with the change.
  8. Changing rate code or room type from the Stay Information box in a virtual folio will no longer add additional room records in the room tab.

Version 6.0.063

Enhancements

Groups module,

  1. When a check in date of a sub folio is extended to be outside of the group master’s date range, a popup has been added to warn the user that the group master’s check in date will be changed to the new date.

Reservation module,

  1. Queue room status can now be removed for bookings that have checked in.
  2. When read only access applies when accessing a folio, more functions and buttons are disabled to prevent updates to the folio.*
  3. When 2 different bookings are opened in using 2 different tabs of the same browser, the audit trail will be updated correctly.*

Fixes

Finance module,

  1. When multiple tabs are open for Manage Accounts Receivables (Pending Transactions), the same transaction will not be posted multiple times when the Post To AR button is used.

Inventory module,

  1. Clicking the Exit button in the Sell Limits screen will return back to the home page.

Groups module,

  1. The Group Auto Assign function no longer checks for guest first name and last name.

Reservation module,

  1. When Out of Order rooms are released back to the hotel’s inventory, this will now trigger an update to the channel manager if the system is integrated on a two way channel.
  2. Accessing bookings with attached deposit rules will no longer hit a runtime error.
  3. In the check in popup, when the current guest is changed to a new guest and the room is newly assigned, the popup will now retain the new guest.
  4. Email confirmation can now be edited and saved by users before sending to the guests.*

Finance module,

  1. The scope of the ‘Override Credit’ user access has been reduced. The new scope will not allow overriding of companies with CASH credit terms or companies whose credit terms has Stop Credit enabled.

Reservations module,

  1. Additional items with the option of process on next day will now reflect correctly for the Advance Bill function.
  2. The market segment in the room tab section will now update correctly when the source of booking and company are updated before the market segment is updated.
  3. The market segment updates in the audit trail has been revised to reflect the old and new values more accurately.
  4. The package calculator in the Stay Information section has been revised to include the item calculator.
  5. The batch auto assign rooms function has been updated so that rooms can be assigned correctly if the auto assignment has been used for multiple dates.

  1. A new validation check has been added to the Submit button in the Check In popup. This will now check if the room has been changed or unassigned by another user when the check in is being processed by the first user.
